Spent a couple of minutes doing some headshots for Miss J, a rising star. One day I’ll see her name in lights, for sure! I can say I knew her when. A few shots I liked (just look at that smile!).

March 22, 2010Married! ~ Atlanta, GA Wedding Photographer
March 17, 2010Had an awesome weekend in Charlotte, NC. It had been raining all day on Friday and paused long enough for the sun to make an appearance at Jennifer and Adrian’s wedding on Saturday! The weather was pleasant, the wedding beautiful, and the photographs tell a story of excitement, anticipation, faith and love. A photographer can’t ask for a better start to her wedding season!
I will have a slideshow up soon, but wanted to share a few cool shots in the meantime. Had fun processing these with new Totally Rad Lightroom Presets. They are fun, and quite handy.
Congratulations Jennifer and Adrian! It was a pleasure photo-documenting your day!
Be My Guest! ~ Atlanta Wedding and Portrait Photographer
March 9, 2010It’s time for me to start making friends in my new neighborhood! For the month of April, I would like to invite you to Be My Guest and book your portrait sessions for this spring season at half off, and enjoy a print credit to boot! I’ve also put together the Spring Collection, a gathering of products available for purchase during the spring and summer months. So please, send me an email and find out more about booking your Be My Guest session today!

March 9, 2010My son gave me permission to photograph him for a few minutes this past weekend. He was feelin’ soft since we’d been pretty sick all week I guess, because he rarely allows me to photograph him in a clean t-shirt with his hair done. We talked Skippyjon Jones and Alice in Wonderland while hitting trees with sticks and seeing how far we could hurl our rocks into the nearby stream. It was a perfectly fine afternoon.
A few photos I snagged along the way:
He’s recently lost the second of his two front teeth. Makes me even crazier about his wicked cute smile.
I love him so!

March 2, 2010A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of spending a chilly winter afternoon exploring the Botanical Gardens at UNC Charlotte with Jennifer and Adrian for their engagement photographs. I tried to play paparrazzi in the bushes at the start of their session, which was good for a laugh, and we spent a good deal of time stamping our feet and jumping around trying to keep warm– it was bone chilling cold outside! You’d never know Jennifer and Adrian were cold, though, when they exchanged a private glance and stole intimate kisses– they were definitely warm and very into each other. I love the love!!!
Here’s a collection of a few of my favorites from their session. I can’t wait for their wedding in just under two weeks!
