About SIREN|photo by Amanda Pryde, Photographer

SIREN|photo was created by Amanda Pryde, an award winning wedding and portrait photographer based in Atlanta, GA. Although she was born in the Midwest, she has lived in the south most of her life and knows a bit about Southern Charm. She started her working days in publicity for a major publisher in NYC, and during her time there met a plethora of colorful and interesting people. Little did she know then that their stories were the building blocks for her passion for photographing people. Always handy with a camera, she later began her photography business with one thought in mind--to tell her clients stories through artistic portraiture. SIREN was born out of a desire to reflect both the inner and outer beauty of all women. No matter if they are mothers, brides, grandmothers, or on-the-go trailblazers, all women have a bit of a Siren singing from within. Amanda wants to re-introduce them to their inner seductress.

Intimate Portraiture ~ Couples

Friday, December 16th, 2011

I had the absolute best time photographing this couple’s intimate portraits for their anniversary. The best part was being on location with them; the way he looked at her, the way she looked at him, and those moments when they got carried away in the moment– all just awesome, awesome, and more awesome. Here’s a sneak from last weekend’s session with them– super HOT!

First, a few of her alone. These are a surprise for him! Just a small sampling…

From a black and white boudoir shoot

Friday, July 15th, 2011

I believe that a woman’s seductive essence is not held in a pose, or in a practiced look. It is present in moments: a glance, a private smile; and it’s seen in her movement– a lock of her hair tumbling from her bare shoulder, a subtle stretch and arch of her back. A culmination of these brief moments tell a very personal story of love, beauty, and subtle provocation that defines a woman’s intimate nature.

A couple of images from a recent black and white shoot inspired by Vogue Italia‘s June 2011 cover, featuring a moody black and white editorial of some very feminine and beautiful women. You can see an archive of the images at Runway Revolution‘s blog.
